What leads me to coaching is what leads me in life. I pay attention to what calls out to me and follow that path. This approach has helped me build a rich colorful tapestry of relationships, life experiences and fulfilling careers. I have always been a people person and at a young age developed a great capacity to be present with others and offer them a safe space to explore their life questions.
I have a commitment to bring a holistic, realistic approach to my coaching relationships with individuals which is rooted in empowerment. I focus on people creating lives that uphold the vision they have for themselves, guided by my belief that we all engage more joyfully in life when we have practices that sustain us. I deliver this through an insightful, compassionate, creative and down-to- earth style of coaching.
My fascination with the mind, body, spirit connection and love for teaching and facilitation originated with a degree in Psychology and Education and grew through several fulfilling careers as a childbirth educator, doula, early parenting facilitator and massage therapist. I found each of these careers to be both incredibly powerful and also very humbling as they offered me the opportunity to witness the shifts and transformations people are capable of when they trust their instincts and honor their personal truth. These professional experiences served me well as I juggled the multiple roles of being a mother, owning a business and being a care provider for dear family members.

Where I thrive outside of coaching is spending time gardening, daily yoga, kayaking, and hiking in the local woods. Dancing? Oh yeah, I love to dance! It’s the one thing I know I can do to shake loose my stress and kick my joy up a few notches. During the time when I was caretaker for my sister Joan, who had Down’s syndrome, I began to make jewelry and write to ease my stress and clear my mind. Though she is gone now, she left with me with this wonderful gift of a creative outlet that still eases my soul.
When people are pulled away from their center, experiencing the fallout from not being aligned with their values and priorities, a coaching partnership offers them the road back to who they are and how they want to show up in life.
